Course Overview
This course will provide students with an understanding of the different stages of the development of Islamic statehood throughout history, the concept of the Caliphate and Ummah, and the role of the individual both within Islamically regulated and non-Islamic societies. This course will also look at Jihad and its conditions, whilst considering solutions to the contemporary issues facing Muslims globally.
