Course Overview

This course provides an in-depth look at the collection of 40 Hadith of Imam Nawawi. These hadith narrations are said to comprise and expound upon the fundamentals of the religion, and are therefore essential for every believer to be aware of.

Part 1 of this course discusses the nature of revelation and the sources of knowledge for worship (‘ibadah). It looks at Hadith #1 – #21, detailing the scholarly discussions surrounding each hadith, their narrators, and how they are to be understood and applied in our daily lives. Part 2 applies the same level of academic scrutiny to the remaining Hadith narrations (#22 – #42).
